Dr Sol Adibson
MD, FRACGP, Dermoscopist, Dip. Skin Cancer Medicine & Surgery
Sol graduated from Tehran University of Medical Sciences in 2003.
He was working as a General Practitioner in Tehran for 2 years.
Sol was a dermatology research assistant at Razi Dermatology Hospital
and Tehran University Dermatology Research Centre.
Sol was also a journal editor for Iranian Dermatology Society.
On arrival in Melbourne in 2006 he started working in Western Health Network where he spent the next 4 years in the capacity of a hospital medical officer/ registrar and worked in different hospitals within Western Health and Werribee Mercy Health. Sol was a Plastic Surgery, General Surgery, and Urology registrar within Western Health Network from 2007 till 2010.
In 2010 Sol began his travels across Australia working in the rural and remote areas of most Australian States and Territories, getting to know the land, its great people and their culture. He has used this opportunity to get to know the health problems specific to different regional areas including Aboriginal health and to provide medical services to the area of need people.
Dr Sol Adibson established SKIN SURG in 2011 at Valley Primary Health Cente in Yarra Glen. His aim was to provide easily accessible skin care including skin caner screening and general dermatology care to local people in Outer Eastern Melbourne suburbs .
SKIN SURG has been sucessfully providing skin care and skin cancer related services to local community since established.
